Trigonometry

We were asked by our Trigonometry teacher, Mr. Eric De Guzman, to measure the distance covered beginning from our school (Marist) up to our first stop over. Next is to measure the distance covered from the first stop over up to the site of our outbound trip (Dolores, Quezon). From the site of our outbound trip up to the place of our second stop over on the way home, and lastly from there up until we get back to our school.

Marist School to first stop over:
41, 400 meters

First stop over to Dolores, Quezon:
74, 900 meters

Dolores Quezon to Second stop over on the way home:
74, 000 meters

Second stop over to Marist School:
43, 700 meters

The next thing we are instructed to do is to count the number of steps of the stairs descending to the river.
Having the difficulty to walk and count, the outbound educators said to us that the steps from above is 269.
When I myself took the challenge to count the steps, the result of mine was only 247 steps which was almost near to the real number of steps.

The last part of our project is also about measuring. Now we are to measure the time that took us to get out of the husgado cave. Based on our record, the time we spent upon entrance until exit of the cave was about 28-35 minutes.
